Hidden Lake – Houston B.C. another gorgeous opportunity wasted courtesy of a government that claims to love tourism as long as they do not have to spend a dime on it, so they can prop up their own projects south of Hope with our forestry dollars. The cost of putting in a decent campgrounds is minimal considering the return on investment.

This site is almost 4X4 only if its wet, if dry any pickup can make it in, there is a clearing and enough room for about 2 families to camp, but there are no facilities here.
LOCATION: See map approx 24 km from Houston, head west of Houston on Highway 16 for 15.5 km then turn right onto the Summit Lake Road, then in about 4 kilometres turn left Hidden Lake FSR, in about 3 km turn right onto another short road called Barren Rd, then a short road to the lake itself.
Fish Species: Fisheries Branch Inventory/Data Unit findings, Longnose Sucker and Cutthroat Trout last inventory sample was done in 1970
