I cannot help but think we are experiencing a bad case of Déjà vu. We did this story already, closed Babine River to hide the dogfood harvest of Sockeye salmon last year on the Babine River. ( Babine River Corridor Provincial Park – Sockeye Scam) yet here we go again.
There is not a whole lot to tell you, other than First Nations here are also doing a wholesale slaughter of sockeye salmon, and hiding it in the same way they did at the Babine River, and it must be another election approved deal with Nathan Cullen as there will be an election only a month or so away. The difference this time is this comes from George Heyman Minister of Environment and Climate Change Strategy, and in collaboration with Nathan Cullen as its in his riding. Other people have commented that it was closed when 2 sibling grillies were seen near the park, hard to believe they would close the park, as if the park has never seen grizzly’s in the past.
